The Archcathedral of St. John the Baptist in Wrocław, known as Breslauer Dom in German, is a Roman Catholic Gothic parish church. It also serves as the cathedral for the bishops of Wrocław. The cathedral sits on Ostrów Tumski island at Cathedral Square. This site has housed four churches over time. The current cathedral mainly dates from the 13th and 14th centuries, during the Gothic period. Before it, three other churches stood on the same spot.
