Casamari Abbey, located in the Province of Frosinone, Lazio, Italy, is a historic Cistercian monastery. It sits about 10 kilometers east-south-east of Veroli. Built between 1203 and 1217, the abbey showcases early Italian Gothic architecture in the Burgundian style, also seen in the Abbey of Fossanova. In 1957, Pope Pius XII elevated CasamariAbbey to the status of minor basilica, honoring its significance. Today, the abbey remains a symbol of religious devotion and architectural excellence.
