Eventually, the faithful outgrew this stone cathedral as well. Therefore, they began building the current cathedral, which still stands today. Through the years, it has seen many changes. New chapels, altars, and artwork now enrich its walls and ceilings. Consequently, each part of the church reflects a different era in its sacred past.
In addition, the cathedral has become a symbol of regional identity. It not only offers a space for prayer but also tells the story of faith across centuries. Tourists and pilgrims visit it year-round.
