Saint-Léonce Cathedral stands in the historic center of Fréjus, in the Var department, and marks one of the region’s most important medieval landmarks. First, it attracts visitors who want to explore its history, architecture, and art. Moreover, the site features the 5th-century Paleo-Christian baptistery with an octagonal hall and eight Corinthian columns that builders reused from a Roman structure. In addition, craftsmen carved the walnut doors in 1530, and artisans created the mullioned windows.
