The Church of Saint-Sulpice stands in the Odéon district of the 6th arrondissement of Paris. It occupies a central position on Place Saint-Sulpice. Moreover, its address is 2, rue Palatine. The church honors Sulpicius the Pious, who served as Archbishop of Bourges in the seventh century.

Furthermore, the French government listed Saint-Sulpice as a historical monument on May 20, 1915. This recognition highlights its architectural and cultural importance.
